Joshua Ogden
Work Experience:
I have just begun my journey as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, graduating from Murdoch University in 2021.
Over the past 2 years I have had the opportunity to gain clinical experience working at the Fiona Stanley Cardiac Outpatients Clinic, MSWA and private clinics all around Perth. I also had the opportunity to become part of the strength and conditioning crew at Perth Football Club, helping amateur athletes with injury prevention and rehabilitation.
As well as helping out at Fortitude Exercise Physiology, I am completing my Masters in Exercise Science at Murdoch University. My area of research includes the prevention of Type 2 Diabetes through lifestyle interventions. If everything goes to plan, I’ll be able to complete my Masters by the end of 2021.
I’ve played cricket on and off again for the past 10 years and currently enjoying playing for East Fremantle. I also love my AFL and support the Fremantle Dockers; you’ll be able to see me at Perth Arena at most home games!
Areas of Clinical Interest:
- Type 2 Diabetes prevention and management
- Metabolic disease clinical research
- Cardiac disease education, prevention and management
- Sport specific strength and conditioning
